I didnt notice until the end that the zone song was playing in the background. it was a really nice touch. this is awesome
The real question is how many helmets he has.
good work dude
hey, great job man, if that was your first animation then you have a promising animation career ahead of you. good luck in your future attempts
nice job mate, I don't know if what your using allows varied frame rates, but you might want to consider beefing it up in the action sequences, whether they are your big concern or not, they end up as a break in continuity(and therefore the viewer's engagement) of the show because the fps doesnt go up as the speed of events does, not even suggesting you to animate differently, i enjoy your animation just fine, but adding transition frames to your action sequences when its not too troublesome will go a long way to keeping the flow of your animations smooth.
lol. this reminds me of the old newgrounds daysXD
I would have liked better audio though
nice. nothing else to say. good job. I suppose I should say something a little more review like. the only thing that broke my entrancement was the extra jaws on the side of the mouth. The were a definite focal point, but the had a bad transition where the connected to the body, you could see that they where just rotating and it brokediddid my intoxication a little. still awesome.
well i enjoyed it, but i think you need better animation to match up with the lip sync, because it is very off right now.
too soon for the robin williams joke though.
YIIIIS. That was really good. my criticism would be that it feels a little curious that her upper lip would be larger than her lower lip. that's super uncommon. but if you intended it, it does look just fine, so no worries.
i really enjoyed the video, you did a great job making it.
I suggest taking a look at Kat Dennings.
That was really good. There is always an awkward leap to get through for magic stuff, but keep trying and I'm sure you can get past it. Your animation was nice, i would love to see more. the voice acting was good and enjoyable too.
to get past that awkward bit where you try to portray actions that real people never take(i.e. grunting or chanting spells) you just have to work at it until you find a way that works with your animation.
it might sound silly, but try watching and paying close attention to shows with real people that do that stuff a lot, the actors and directors have put a lot of thought into how to convey things, it takes a fair amount of effort to get your character's actions to fit their voices, but you are definitely on the right track.
watch shows that do it regularly, even if its live action. just watching cartoons will make you forget how some voices can match up with their bodies, so its good practice to watch both types of shows. something like Heroes or Supernatural.(mostly heroes. really good acting) would be a great place to look for the awkward grunts and screams that accompany this stuff.
RWBY is on netflix now and they do a good job getting past that awkward leap as the show progresses.
Thanks for the critique :) I agree the action was a bit awkward. Heroes I'd a show I haven't watched yet but have been meaning to so I'll definitely take alook at their action scenes to see how to improve mine. I wish I saw Little Witch Acedemia 2 before working on this video, the magic would have looked a lot better xD.
The accuracy of this video is stunning!
I remember that in high school i sat with this group of girls everyday at lunch. and one day one of them asks me, "so is she supposed to be wearing a bra on top of it?" and i just looked at her perplexed.
And so they tell me that breasts don't look that way and they proceeded to try and tell me how breasts lay normally. that was a long and awkward day of lunch. I have had a few girlfriends now, and i know what they should look like, but I'm still never sure I'm drawing them well XD
